Recently, it was learned from Liuzhou Municipal Finance Bureau that since the beginning of this year, the Department of Finance of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has focused on the layout of the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry, allocating 898 million yuan of central energy conservation and emission reduction subsidies. These funds were used to support the improvement of public charging infrastructure and promote the application of NEVs, with part of the subsidy used for assisting in the development of Liuzhou's NEV industry.

According to a spokesperson from Liuzhou Municipal Finance Bureau, the bureau will play a "booster" role to further help Liuzhou's NEV industry generate new momentum. In recent years, through the implementation of a "government-enterprise three-level linkage" mechanism, Liuzhou has developed "Liuzhou Model" for the promotion and application of NEVs. The city currently has over 200,000 NEVs in operation. Additionally, Liuzhou has enacted the country's first comprehensive local regulation on NEV charging facilities, which standardized the planning, construction, operation, and promotion of charging infrastructure.
