Recently, in Liuzhou, a land rights auction took place at the Liuzhou Land Transaction Reserve Center, marking the first successful transaction of rural collective operable construction land on the market in Liuzhou since the Ministry of Natural Resources of China formally approved the pilot project in Yufeng District of Liuzhou in 2023. This initiative aims to increase villagers' income and promote rural industrial development.

It is learnt that this land parcel, located in Shidan Sub-village, Baisha Village, Baisha Town, Yufeng District, covers an area of 19.51 mu and is planned for Type II industrial use. Liuzhou Shishanjiao Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd. won a bid of 3 million yuan for it. The land, close to the Liuzhou River Snail Rice Noodle Industrial Park, will be used for processing raw materials of Liuzhou River Snail Rice Noodles. After completion, the fixed asset investment is expected to be no less than 20 million yuan. This project is set to further activate the stock of rural construction land, and promote rural economic development and the flow of urban and rural elements, significantly contributing to the integration of urban and rural development and rural revitalization.
