Baipeng Town is the main production area for double-cropping lotus roots in Liujiang District, with a cultivation area of 42,000 mu in an average year. The "Liujiang Lotus Root" produced here has been listed as a national geographical indication product. Relying on its unique idyllic countryside landscape and the agricultural eco-tourism area with thousands-of-mu double-cropping lotus fields, Baipeng Town attracts a large number of visitors during the lotus bloom season each year, receiving over a million visitors annually and generating the annual tourism consumption of over 100 million yuan.
