It is understood that Liuzhou's local matching rate for new energy vehicle parts has reached 60%, with power batteries, as one of the core components, developing particularly rapidly and achieving an annual output value of over 10 billion yuan last year. Centering on the landmark project, SAIC-GM-Wuling's "Project 125", 83 industrial chain projects have been strategically planned with a total investment estimated at 43 billion yuan. Liuzhou has completed an accumulated investment of 17.7 billion yuan, introducing a batch of core projects. In terms of scientific research and innovation, Guangxi New Energy Vehicle Laboratory, led by 8 academicians, has built a full-chain research and development system, undertaking 84 national- and autonomous-region-level projects, and participating in the formulation of 157 domestic and international new energy vehicle standards, with over 6,000 patents granted, and its research achievements have been applied to over 600,000 vehicles.
