Qingzhou Liujiang Grand Bridge of Guangxi Lufeng Expressway connected

The Qingzhou Liujiang Grand Bridge is under construction.
Yesterday, the reporter learned from Guangxi Lufeng Expressway Co., Ltd. that the Qingzhou Liujiang Grand Bridge, which is a controlling project of the Luzhai County-Qinzhou Port Highway (Luzhai County-Yufeng District section) (hereinafter referred to as “Guangxi Lufeng Expressway”), has been connected and is expected to be completed in July this year.
The Qingzhou Liujiang Grand Bridge has a total length of 1675 meters, the longest cable-stayed bridge without auxiliary piers in Guangxi. It is also the second longest cable-stayed bridge without auxiliary piers in China.
“At present, the overall completion rate of the bridge is 95%. The topping out of the 8th and 9th main towers has been completed, and the closure of the side and middle parts of the bridge has been completed. The construction of the large approach bridge has also been completed, and the construction of the T-beam of the small approach bridge is underway,” said Hu Song, the section chief of Guangxi Lufeng Expressway Co., Ltd.
It is reported that Guangxi Lufeng Expressway is a major project in Guangxi, passing through Liudong New District, Luzhai County, and Yufeng District in Liuzhou. The project has a total length of 26.958 kilometers and is a two-way four-lane road. The overall project is expected to be completed by the end of December this year.
