13th Rong’an Kumquat Cultural Tourism Festival to be held next month

It was recently learned from the press conference that the 13th Rong'an Kumquat Cultural Tourism Festival will be held from December 3 to 4, 2022. The county hopes to expand influence, strengthen communication and promote development through the festival, so as to enhance brand influence, and promote the high-quality development of local economy and society.

It is learned that its opening ceremony is held in Xiangshange Square in Dazhou Island, Chang’an Town, Rong’an County, with Tongxin Cultural Square in Dazhou Island of Chang’an Town, and Arcade Street in Chang’an Ancient Town as well as the county’s sports center as branch venues. During the event, a variety of activities will be held, including a competition titled “Which is the King of Kumquat in Rong’an”, signing of investment promotion projects, a food competition titled “Flavor of the Home of Kumquat”, and an intangible cultural heritage exhibition themed on “charm of ancient arcade”. Among them, the total investment of the investment attraction projects is 700 million yuan, playing a positive role in promoting the upgrading of the kumquat industry in the county and increasing the added value of agricultural products. Meanwhile, short distance tourism routes will be launched to meet the needs of different kinds of tourists.
