It’s recently learned that spring tea in Liuzhou has good harvest and sales. According to Zhang Guofu, Deputy Secretary General of Liuzhou Tea Industry Association, this year, spring tea in Liuzhou can be picked from February 5. At present, the most common tea can be sold at a price of more than 20 yuan/jin, and the price for famous tea generally rose by more than 10 yuan. Whether for tea growers or enterprises, this means a good harvest.

The first round of picking famous spring tea in Liuzhou is now completed, and tea plants will be pruned and enter into another growing period. The second round of picking will start from April 7 or so. Tea enterprises in Liuzhou are not content with the harvest of one season. They have long-term vision, and will devote themselves to deep processing and branding during the “14th Five-year Plan” period. In order to ensure the safety and facilitate the export of Liuzhou tea, Liuzhou Customs not only guided and supported tea growers to apply for the record qualification of tea plantations for export, but also listed the tea in Liuzhou Customs’ Risk Monitoring Plan for Import and Export Food for five consecutive years, and conducted free inspections on 53 pesticide residues. At present, the city has five registered plantations of export tea, three in Sanjiang County and two in Luzhai County. The planting scale exceeds 140,000 mu.
