Recently, at the construction site of Rong'an section of the provincial highway S208 from Rong'an to Baishou of Yongfu, workers are busy in lifting concrete pier formworks. During the Spring Festival holiday, 108 migrant workers at the construction site responded to the call of "celebrating the lunar new year on the spot" and continued to carry out highway construction, achieving an output value of 5 million yuan during the Spring Festival.

It is known that Rong'an section of the provincial highway S208 from Rong'an to Baishou of Yongfu is one of the projects implemented for the aim of "four constructions and one connection", which has been listed into the highway construction project library of “the 13th Five-Year Plan” of the Department of transport of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and is one of the key projects of Guangxi in 2020 as well as one of the livelihood projects in the “Report on the Work of the Government”. The completion of the project will greatly improve the local traffic conditions and promote the local economic development.
