The Kaishan temple, one of the four famous Buddhism temples in Guangxi, is located at foot of Feng Mountain in Fengshan town, Liucheng County (civilization town). The Kaishan temple has a pagoda decorated with the poetry couplets inside. There are four caves linking together, marvelous stones are popular inside the caves. The outside of the temple are 18 ancient banyan trees like giants. Looked up from the temple are dragon boat mountain, dragon mountain, white tiger mountain, bird mountain and green wind mountain. Looked down from sky, the Feng mountain as if sits in the center a giant lotus because it is surrounded by mountains, a wonder in Guangxi. The temple also is famous in Southeast Asia, attracting pilgrims all year around. February 8th is the day of Buddha tonsured, a temple fair is held for celebration. Around 10 million pilgrims and visitors at home and in Southeast Asia are gathering here.
