Xiangqiao Scenic Area

 Luzhai Xiangqiao National Geological Park, in the territory of Zhongdu town of Luzhai county, is located in the northeast edge of karst basin in the center of Guangxi. It stretches to northwest and southeastern with an area of 139 square kilometers, the core area is 39 square kilometers. This park is a large national geological park which shows the karst geological features as a theme.

The main geological and geomorphic patterns in the park are karst peak groups, peak clusters, cliffs, caves, natural stone bridges and stone forests. The Xaingqiao karst gorge, natural stone bridge, nine dragon cavern, sound stone forest, sound waterfalls and the karst peak clusters from Zhongdu to Zhishan area are the most valuable for sightseeing. It is recommended by geologists as a real "epitome of tropical karst landform" and a “geological museum of natural karst landform”.

The park has strange peaks, dense potholes, grotesque rivers with the light and shade, various types of rare geological relics and is a typical geological formation of natural heritage for many years, thus, it is the precious wealth of human blessed by nature. Consequently, it is an important place for popular science education, research and development.
