Dragon girl valley Tourism village is located in the territory of Sirong town of northwest Rongshui Miao autonomous county. It sits at south of Yuanbao mountain with an altitude of 2086 meters. The county highway 638 runs through it. The village is accessible from Rongshui county by driving for 47 km.
Dragon girl valley Tourism village is an ancient Miao village. Miao ancestors moved from Hunan to the beautiful Rongdi village in 400 years ago. In the period of democratic revolution (during1930), it twice become a reception place for Chinese Red Army seventh Army which led by Deng Xiaoping, to open up the revolutionary base areas and to join forces with the Central Red Army in the north. Up to the present, the dragon girl valley scenic area has still preserved the Red Army Bridge where the red army march passed by.
With thinking opening up in Ronshui Miao Autonomous County, villagers of Dragon girl valley explore tourism development under local conditions. They invest 100000 Yuan in reception building, restaurants, boat tourism, forest sightseeing routes, leisure tourism routes and reservoir sightseeing, etc. The valley is awarded of ""Guangxi agriculture tourism demo site" in Nov, 2011 and "Liuzhou top 10 beautiful villages" in 2007. Miao is slowly unveiling its mysterious veil for its unique scenery, ethnic customs.
