Mushrooms are largely grown at Liuzhou’s counties including Sanjiang, Rongshui and Jingxiu, in which Rongshui alone produces as much as 20,000 kilograms of mushrooms every year. Yaoshan mushroom from Jingxiu and Huaibao mushroom from Rongshui are among the post popular ones. Besides its yummy taste, the mushrooms also can lower blood level and reduce cholesterol level, which have made them popular around the country.
